"Do
your best and having fun doing it."
Harrison County Fair Parade Who are we? Bob Davis HELP! I'm being held captive by alien women, with three feet and crooked fingernails, from the planet Gornog. JUST KIDDING! Actually that's the atmosphere around here sometimes. Heather and I founded FGB Images in 2000 in order to bring a sense of humor to the Corydon area and make photography fun. It seems like we are succeeding. And we really do have fun. I spent most of my life in corporate America, where everyone is a number and the object is to sell people more than they need. I was absolutely miserable! Now, I wake up in the morning and look forward to coming up with stupid stuff to make people smile. Our brand of photography is outside the norm and I want to keep it that way. I hate boring pictures so I'm always looking for ways to make my photographs fun and interesting. So, along with the goose, I will continue to push the envelope. Besides, if these Goronogian women ever turn on me, I may end up as intergalactic cheese spread.
FGB Images would not be possible without Heather. It was her insight and belief in me that formed the foundation of this company. In fact, it was Heather that first introduced me to Corydon. She is not only great business women, but a great photographer as well. Finding someone with both of these attributes is rare. Getting her to marry me was beyond most people's imagination.
April Clark (Bond) This woman never ceases to amaze me. Not only has she developed some of the most creative ideas in our product line, she is also the one that keeps my creativity challenged. Her talent is one of the best kept secrets in the industry and I am so grateful that we found her first. She has an amazing ability to turn customer's needs into works of art. My friend and fellow defender against the dark side
monkeys. A quiet fellow who is always looking at things from a different
angle. His calming demeanor is a pleasant addition and alternative to
the madhouse that I create around here. His 15 years of photographic experience
has made a great contribution to our overall success.
A 1955 Messerschmidt KR150 owned by Heather and
her mother, this is a symbol of just how crazy we are around here. We
believe that there are only about 60 of these left in the world. This
car is in original condition and is one of the ugliest/cutest cars ever
produced. It was made by the Messerschmidt airplane company that was famous
for making fighter planes for Germany in WWII. It is not only an eye catcher
but a blast to drive. |
